Some people have no shame... :) Subject: Feedback.... [ Community Profile ] I just wanted to say that this weeks community profile was the best ever... I don't know why it was so great, but uhm... it was. :) =\ iMMoRTaL /= ---==< www.pointlessaudio.com >==--- Pointless Audio And a feedback to a feedback... Subject: D. Tracey That D. Tracey is one Loony dude. Hell, he makes me sound like a damn writn' professor or somethin' with all those 'power of the written word' quotes. ps I think...you scare me.... Subject: Deer Hunter series (and all its counter-parts) Hey Loonyboi,
I really think that you are right on about the Deer Hunter games, I mean, what if you get a trophy buck?..print it out and tape it to your wall? Anyway, I did see something that caught my eye while I was browsing the Electronics Dept. at Wal-Mart the other day. I was walking past the Bargin Bin and noticed a Deer Hunter-like Box, and I thought, "Oh great, another hunting game." Then I notice a slight variation from the norm...there was a hunter in the sights and you could see hoofs on the gun!...the word "Hunter" was scratched out and "Avenger" was written in its place. I couldn't help but laugh. It looks pretty funny and I might just have to pick it up. Best of all it was only a low Wal-Mart price of $19.95. Just thought I'd share that with someone who might appriciate it.
Yours truely, Jeremy "Kazmont" Crump Actually, I have to admit, there is some really twisted part of me that loves that idea, I’ve played far too many hunting games recently for my own good. (And for the record, I’ve hated them all) :) Just some rambling.... Subject: Half-Life All I have to say is WOW. This game really kicks ass. I mean, all the detail they put into it. It is absolutely amazing. I had been getting upset lately with all the games I have bought just to uninstall and put back on my shelf. This game is different. I have played it twice already. This game is definitely worth the money. Although I was kninda upset when I heard they were gonna charge us for Team Fortress 2 on top of the $40 I paid for Half-Life. This game still rocks. I have friends that just watch me play because they are just amazed at some of the scripted events. No single player game I have ever played has been close to this much fun. I still have to have my quake deathmatch, but when I can tie up the phone line, its time for a little Half-Life. This game is great, but it does seem like something is missing from deathmatch. Anyway, just thought I'd voice my opinion. Thanks Yeah, I gotta admit, Half-Life’s a hoot...and I think Team Fortress 2 is going to be worth whatever they charge. And the winner of this week’s t-shirt (solely because you mention a game I don’t remember at all!)... Subject: Doom Anniversary article I really enjoyed your article on the 5 year anniversary of Doom. I just wanted to point out that you forgot Marathon. The retail version of Marathon 1 came out Dec 94, well before Dark Forces and a good year and a half before Duke Nukem. And in my opinion it was a much better game than Doom or any of its clones. Thanks Editor’s Note: please forgive my sister’s ignorance…for those who don’t remember, Marathon was a fantastic Mac first person shooter by Bungie, the makers of the gore-fest that is Myth: The Fallen Lords. He’s right…it was a great game. Better than Doom, I don’t know about…but it was a great game.
