just wondering.
Hi I just wanted to know if you guys could help me out.
For as long as I could remember I enjoyed playing games.
Ultima 5 sucked me right in. Before that I was heavy into
paper and pencil role playing in which I was always the
the GM (Game Master), and wrote many a short story to prepare
for my weekly games. My question to you is, how do I become
a game designer? sorry, I know the question sounds a bit
childish, but I wanted to do this for a really long time,
but don't know anyone that could give me any really solid
advice. As of now I am headed towards becoming an MCSE just
because I have a knack for computers and networking but
would really rather go towards a field were I can use my
creativity.

Step number
one. Learn to LOOK. loonygames has many game developers
are columns...READ them. Sorry, sore spot with me...there
is a ton of information on the Internet about how to become
a game developer, and the number one step in all of them
is show some initiative. Meaning..dont ask someone
else, go out and do it yourself. In other words...start
designing a mod, or something, but do it, dont talk
about it.

Weve
actually been subject to very little of this, I kinda think
the e-mail address called FEEDBACK generally keeps people
from sending this stuff. Not to mention, that to on the
feedback page, where this address is located, it clearly
states we do not do news. So, um, Conrad, at Gamers
Playground? Wherever you got our e-mail address from? Please
put it back.

Stephanie "Bobbi" Bergman may possibly be the world's worst Age
of Empires 2: Age of Kings player. She still loves it, though.
