From the Mouth of Madness:

Issue 2.5

by Jason "loonyboi" Bergman

Hey, welcome back to loonygames.

We've got a ton of great stuff for you, including our spectacular cover by Kenneth Scott (woo!) and of course, our great interview with Paul Steed.

I feel I should point out what a great job Rowan Crawford has been doing arranging these covers. All the covers for Volume 2 so far have been fantastic, and Rowan's the guy who set 'em all up. Look at the great run we've had so far: Chris Greenhaw, Illiad, Francis Tsai, Dhabih Eng, and geez...now Kenneth Scott. Whee! Look for some more spectacular covers in the weeks to come.

We've got plenty of other great stuff for you this week, including Josh Vasquez' look at Dino Crisis in Pixel Obscura (after his scathing review of Resident Evil 3, I can't wait to read this one myself), a brand new Pad Happy, a new Behind the Curtain, a new Down the Pipe, Rich Wyckoff (the uber-Ultima fan) looks at Ultima IX: Ascension in Beaker's Bent, and boy...even more. Look for all that in the days to come.

Have you been reading our new comic strip Real Life? If you haven't I highly recommend it. It's a blast and a half, and it's daily, which means there's always a new strip there when you want one. Between RL and User Friendly, we're pretty set with daily strips here for a bit. :)

(Although, I should point out that we're always looking for new stuff. Comics, writers, artists, everything. If you'd like to join us, drop me a line. I'm sure we could use you!)

I'm going to have to end this week's edition here, kids...but next week I'll be back with a rundown of all the games I'm playing at the moment, including Ultima IX, Unreal Tournament, Quake III Arena, Outcast, jeez...the list goes on.

Until then, stay loony!
